EA has announced that Microbot is now available on XBL Arcade for 800 Microsoft Point.  This game is an arcade shooter with micro-biotechnology as its main theme.  Players will venture through the bloodstream, bones, lung and the brain while battling hazards to the human body.

Mass Effect 3 Details Announced: Plot, Gameplay and More

Bioware stated that Mass Effect 3 will be the final installment in the Mass Effect Trilogy. The title was announced on December 11th at the at Spike’s 2010 Video Game Awards. There is no set date as to when Mass Effect 3 will be released, however Bioware has announced that they plan on releasing the game sometime “Holiday 2011.”

In regards to the game’s release, Bioware is considering an “uber-collector’s edition” for Mass Effect 3 that will test fans’ loyalty to the trilogy. The special item in the collectors edition will be “very exclusive and pricey.” “Community Coordinator Chris Priestly used the working night vision goggles included in the ‘Prestige Edition’ of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as an example of the type of item they were looking for” (Via Wiki). Since December 11th, we have been able to dig up some more information pertaining to Mass Effect 3′s plot and gameplay.

Kinect Tops Sales at GameStop – And other issues…

The Kinect proving to be a success.

Due to strong holiday demand, the Kinect was the top selling item at Gamestop over the past week.  This includes the Kinect as a standalone product and as part of the many Kinect Read Xbox 360 bundles.  Gamestop was not the only place where customers flocked to for the Kinect, the Kinect was was a top seller on Amazon.com as well due to its many choices of Kinect bundles.

Even though the Kinect is selling like mad, it hasn’t been all smiles for Microsoft, the company behind Kinect.  Users are reporting that the Kinect is causing their older consoles to receive the dreaded RROD.  No proof has been found to confirm this but it is under investigation.

New Gears of War Project Listed for Sales; Possibly Kinect Ready

The newly listed Gears of War game is titled Gears of War Ultimate. Gamestop has the game listed for $29.99, which is unbelievably cheap for a new Xbox 360 game, and has a set release date of 2/15/2011. There has been some wild speculation by Examiner claiming that this new game could possibly be Gears of War’s Kinect edition. Read more »

Tomb Raider: New Game Images Released

The new Tomb Raider game seems to be setting course for a 2011 arrival. Of course, that doesn’t seem too far away from where we stand right now. Game Informer was the first to get their hands on a bunch of new screenshots of the game. Be sure to check them out.
